Over the years, the Jubin Spastic Home & Charitable Trust has grown into a center of excellence for child rehabilitation, special needs education, and community health outreach. Guided by the vision of inclusive development, the Institute is running numerous projects addressing the diverse physical, emotional, and social needs of children and families. Each program is designed with a focus on accessibility, compassion, and impact.
The Early Intervention Program was initiated by Dr. Darshan Ahuja in 1993 at Jubin Hospital, with a vision to identify and address developmental challenges at the earliest stages of childhood. This initiative evolved further with the establishment of the Jubin Spastic Home & Charitable Trust in 2000 and the Jubin Special School in 2005, forming a comprehensive network for child rehabilitation and special needs care in Rajasthan.
The center caters to the developmental needs of children across all age groups, especially 0–6 years. Services include Physiotherapy, Neuro-Developmental Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) — the first of its kind in the Bikaner division — as well as Audiometry, Sensory Integration, Hydrotherapy, and Special Education.
Each child receives a personalized rehabilitation plan designed by a multidisciplinary team, with strong emphasis on parental participation.
Currently, the center provides services to over 200 children every day, nurturing their physical, cognitive, social, and behavioral growth. Through early identification and compassionate intervention, we continue to empower children and families toward independence and hope.
The Neonatal High-Risk (NBHR) Center is a specialized initiative dedicated to early identification, monitoring, and care of high-risk newborns. Established through collaboration between the Trust and Jubin Multispeciality Hospital, the center plays a vital role in preventing developmental delays through timely medical and therapeutic intervention.
Approximately 200 newborns are screened monthly to assess growth, reflexes, and neurological development. Infants identified as “at-risk” receive individualized follow-up care, parental guidance, and expert medical supervision.
Our objective is simple yet profound — ensuring every high-risk infant begins life with the strongest foundation for healthy development.
The Daycare & Special School is dedicated to holistic development, inclusive education, and emotional growth of children with special needs. The environment is nurturing, safe, and tailored to each child’s unique learning style.
Children are grouped into four levels:
• Primary–I
• Secondary
• Pre-Vocational–I
• Pre-Vocational–II
Assessment is done through the scientifically recognized Functional Assessment Checklist for Programming (FACP), followed by an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Every 3 months, psychological reviews and parent meetings track progress. The goal is to empower children to integrate confidently into mainstream society.
True education embraces every child. Our inclusive model ensures regular and special children learn together — fostering equality, empathy, and mutual respect. Affiliated with the Rajasthan State Board, our school bridges children with special needs to mainstream education.
Trained teachers and therapists collaborate to provide individualized support using adaptive tools, inclusive teaching methods, and a nurturing atmosphere.
For ages 14–16, the Pre-Vocational Program develops creativity, life skills, and independence through activities like handicrafts, candle making, chocolate making, paper bag designing, computer literacy, arts, crafts, and health education.
For ages 16+, the Skill Training Center provides vocational training including tailoring, paper cup & bag production, phenyl manufacturing, housekeeping, beauty care, mehndi art, and organic farming.
These programs enhance technical skills along with teamwork, communication, and confidence-building.
Jubin Spastic Home serves as a leading center for research, training, and community empowerment. Through workshops, capacity-building programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions, we promote disability awareness across Rajasthan.
The center also supports families with livelihood and skill-development programs, working as a knowledge hub in collaboration with government and private institutions.
Jubin Spastic Home proudly offers HBOT — an advanced treatment supporting brain healing and wellness. We are the first center in the Bikaner division with a multi-place HBOT unit for up to 5 patients at once.
HBOT increases oxygen supply to brain and body tissues, promoting regeneration, neuroplasticity, inflammation reduction, and healing.
In addition to primary services, the Trust conducts:
